Ramsey & Company was established in 1954 in Houston by James K Ramsey and an associate. In 1964 Mr. Ramsey purchased 100% of the stock and became the sole owner.  In 1976 his son, Rick, joined in the business and has been Chief Operating/Executive Officer since the death of his father in 1988.  At this time, Ramsey & Company employs five salesmen, with satellite offices in San Antonio and Austin.
